With 15 years experience at the BBC reporting, producing and presenting, Lizzie Powell is Programme Leader of the new Sports Media Production degree at Bath Spa University. A degree which has women’s sports at the heart of its teaching and learning.

Passionate about elevating stories and coverage of women’s sports Lizzie is co-investigator on the ‘Her Game Her Story’ project.

Still active within broadcasting, having recently worked on both the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Commonwealth Games, Lizzie will also be heading to cover the Olympics in Paris this summer, the first ever gender-neutral Olympics.
