Sonali Chander is an award winning Sports Anchor & Journalist with more than 25 years of experience. That includes an 18 year stint as Sports Editor of NDTV, India’s first 24 hour English news channel. 

She pioneered the concept of a daily Sports show in 2001 and has interviewed everyone from Serena Williams to Sachin Tendulkar to Shahrukh Khan. 

Sonali has travelled extensively in India, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka & UK. Since she left NDTV, she has been involved as a consultant & trainer with her husband’s sports production company, Sportzworkz. 

More recent is her appointment as a board member of the upcoming Delhi Sports University, an ambitious 1000 crore project by the Delhi government to create Olympic champions.

Sonali’s most valuable educational degree is the broadcast journalism scholarship in Cardiff, Wales in the summer of 2000. 

She plays golf & badminton and wants to convince more moms to join her since sports is not just a way of life but life itself!
